Helen A. Valente of Wallingford, Pennsylvania October 13, 2019 Helen A. Valente, 97, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019. She was a woman of faith and a founding member of St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford, PA. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 61 years Anthony J. Valente who passed away in 2005. She and her husband founded and were owner operators of the Vale Company in Collingdale, PA. A family business still in the Valente family. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her fondest times were spent with her family. Survived by her children Alice Cerrone, Anthony Valente, Jr., Rita Poggi, Robert Valente, Michael Valente and her sibling Marion MacKale. Helen was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be Friday October 18, 2019 at St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086. Friends and family may call from 9:30 – 11 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.. Burial to follow at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
