Hazel’s Obituary Hazel Hughes, age 88, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at U.T. Medical Center with family at her bedside. Hazel was a believer in Christ as her Lord and Savior. Preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Riley O’Dell Hughes, parents, Conda and Helen Atkins, brother C.L. Atkins, and sister, Geraldine Malone. Survivors include son and daughter in law, Sammy and Karen Hughes; grandchildren, Jason (Heather) Hughes and Lauren (Johnny) Parris; great grandchild Kinsley Hughes, brothers, Rudolph (Sue) Atkins, Don Atkins, Alvin (Sheila) Atkins, Imogene (Jim) Atkins. Hazel was an avid golfer who loved gardening with her husband. She was a precious soul who cherished all her family and friends. Graveside service will be Tuesday October 29, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Grandview Cemetery, Pastors Ed and Jim Malone officiating.
