Gordon Lee Millslage, 56, of Greeley, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2019. He was born February 10, 1963 to Wilbur and Dottie Millslagle in Rapid City, South Dakota. The Millslagles moved to Greeley in 1967 where they set down roots and Gordon began his education. After graduating from Greeley West High School in 1981, Gordon attended the University of Northern Colorado. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and like many of us, found himself in the real world. He worked several different odd jobs until settling down in sales, service and repair of optometry equipment in which he became quite successful. Gordy was a die-hard Bronco Fan and wouldn’t pass on an opportunity to see a game live. He loved camping, fishing, skiing, playing soccer, hockey, listening to music and hanging out with family and friends. Gordy liked his toys and gadgets. He liked collecting models and remote-control cars & trucks and has an impressive “Hot wheels” collection. But Gordy’s biggest love was his dogs. He loved dogs and they loved him. Every dog he had throughout the years was a rescue dog. He took better care of them then he did himself. Gordy had an easiness about him. His kind heart and gentle spirit will truly be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by several cousins on both sides of the family and many friends. A Celebration of life will be held on Thursday November 7, 2019 at 3 pm at Northern Colorado Crematory, 700 8th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
