Germaine “Gerrie” Amorosi Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 82 Mrs. Germaine “Gerrie” (nee Del Virginia) Amorosi, 82, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Thursday, October 17 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be conducted on Friday, October 18 at 9:30 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Nutley at 10:45 a.m. The entombment will be at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. Mrs. Amorosi was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Bloomfield for 25 years before moving to Belleville 25 years ago. She was a Unit Clerk at Columbus Hospital, Newark for many years before retiring in 1998. She is survived by her beloved children Germaine Amorosi, Lisa Conway, Thomas Amorosi, and Susan Guido and her husband Paul; her cherished grandchildren Toni Ann, Melissa, Richard and his wife Natasha, Thomas, Gianna, Gabriella, Gina, Ryan and his wife Kiersten, Justin, Kevin, Kyle and Jennifer; her precious great-grandchildren Santino, Anthony, Leonardo, and Grayson; her loving sister-in-law Bernie, and her loving niece and nephew Thomasina and James. She is also survived by her extended loving family and many loving friends; and her furry friends Stanley and Milo. Mrs. Amorosi is predeceased by her husband Thomas Amorosi, her parents Louis and Germaine (nee Zinis) Del Virginia, her brother Gary Del Virginia, and her son-in-law Joseph Conway.
