Gerald’s Obituary Gerald Bremer Sr. Spaulding Township, MI Passed away at his home in Spaulding Township, Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was born October 8, 1940 to the late William Bremer Jr. and Theresa Gaertner. He was a lifelong resident of Spaulding Township, living on a 5th generation family farm. He was awarded farm manager of the year in 1974 by Michigan State University. His passions included fishing, working on farm tractors and spending time with his children, and grandchildren. He leaves his wife of 60 years Glory, daughter Linda Bremer of Higgins Lake; sons Gerald (Joyce) Bremer Jr. of Corunna, William (Cherie) Bremer of Saginaw, John (Jennifer) Bremer of Spaulding Township; grandchildren Brian, Michael, Claire, Jenna, Leah, Nicole, Bub, Andrew, Austin; great grandchildren Nicholas and Fawn; brothers Ronald Bremer and Richard Bremer. Gerald was preceded in death by a sister Marva Ellis. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Cremation will follow. Jerry’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
