George’s Obituary George I. Fisher, 92, of Macungie, passed away October 16, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. He was the widow of Anna E. (Fisher) Fisher, who passed away Oct. 28, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late George I. and Violet (Borton) Fisher, Jr. George has spent the majority of his working career in security, last working as the Director of the Security Buildings and Grounds for Swathmore College. He served his country during the Korean War with the United States Army Signal Corp. George worked along side the Port St. Lucie Police Department on neighborhood patrol for 23 years, volunteered with fire police in Sharon Hill and Collingdale, both in PA and was a reserve fireman in Philadelphia from 1953-1956. Survivors: Stephen Fisher and his late wife MaryJane, Robert Fisher and his late wife Kathleen and Daniel Fisher and his wife Michele; Grandchildren Sherry Stockmal and her husband Stephen, Brian Fisher and his wife Leslie, Michael and Megan Fisher; Great Grandchildren, Eric, Melissa and Ryan Stockmal, Kimberly and Grant Fisher. He was predeceased by his Brother Irvin and his sisters, Violet Samson and Charlotte Murphy. Services: Private. Arrangements entrusted to Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
