A family directed memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Robert B. Thomas, VFW Post #1098 officiated by Rev. Bobby Mize with military honors provided by the VFW. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. Freddie was born to Lee Roy and Geneva Marie (Jarvis) Ary on February 25, 1947 in McAlester. He attended McAlester Schools and joined the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 1968. Freddie worked as a maintenance man for the McAlester Housing Authority for over 18 years, retiring in 2018. He married Terry Alyce Bohanon on August 9, 1985 in Richardson, Texas. Freddie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and visiting casinos. Survivors include his wife: Terry of the home; sons: Shaney Bennett and wife, Carolyn of McAlester, Ricky Bennett and wife, Billie of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Lloyd Ary of McAlester, Chris Ary and Lori Roberts of Adamson; daughters: Tammy Bougess and husband, Cornelius of Arlington, Texas, Kathleen Ary of Adamson, and Tamra Kay Ary of Phoenix, Arizona; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother: Jimmy Don Loflin of Oklahoma City; uncles: Lee Westbrook of Krebs and Bobby Westbrook of Weatherford; and numerous other family members and friends.
