Kincannon 87 passed away Monday, October 21, 2019at Rhea Medical Center. Fred was a lifetime resident of Grandview. He was an auto mechanic and served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Fred was a member of the American Legion Post #203. He retired in 1992 from TVA working at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for over 20 years. Fred was a hardworking man and enjoyed gardening; especially growing watermelons. He was of the Baptist faith Fred was preceded in death by his parents Irving and Minnie Gladman Kincannon, wife Ruby Kincannon, his brothers Alfred Kincannon, Milton Kincannon, Russell Kincannon and Woodrow Kincannon and sisters Mary Reed, Joyce Reed, Virginia Grasham and Linda Graham. Survivors include his son Chris Kincannon of Grandview, brothers Willard Kincannon of Harriman and Norman Kincannon of Grandview, sister Christine Larkin of Spring City and his granddaughter Christian Rae Kincannon of Decatur and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Dyeofficiating. Interment will be in the Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Vaughn Funeral Home. Vaughn Funeral Home, Spring City is in charge of arrangements.
