Obituary for Floyd Alford Hunter Floyd Alford Hunter, age 87, passed away at home Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Born June 1, 1932, to the late Jesse Dale Hunter and Erma Jenkins Hunter. He graduated from Franklin High School and served in the USMC based at Ft. Campbell, KY. He was married for 60 years to the former Virginia Short, who died in 2013. Also preceding him in death, son, Jeff Hunter. He believed in community service, working with the Boy Scouts and the Civitan Club, where he served as Governor of the Valley District in 1974. His greatest love was for his family who are truly missing him: daughter, Allyson (John) Ordung, sons, Chris (Vicky) Hunter and Farley (Ron) Hunter, grandchildren, Sam (Karissa) Ordung, Grace (Matt) Johanson, Caleb Ordung, Dustin and Alex Hunter, brother Price Hunter. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Friday, October 18, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Sam Ordung officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
