SEARCY, Mrs. Bessie – Age 71, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Heartland Health Care Center-Fostrian. Family hour 10:30 AM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Joy Missionary Baptist Church, 670 E. Carpenter Rd., with funeral service commencing at 11:00 AM Pastor Warwick Goodwin, officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery, G-4413 Flushing Rd. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:30 AM Saturday. First Lady Searcy will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W.
