Born on October 28, 1921 in Paoli, Indiana to the late Elmer(Verna Sprague) Ellis. Evelyn worked for RCA as an assembler. She was a member of the Monon First Baptist Church, she enjoyed crocheting, fishing, baking, playing cards, watching game shows, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Ray Cooley, son; Ronald Cooley, sisters; Betty and Reva. Survived by sons; Floyd “Bub” (Pam) Cooley of LaCrosse, Delbert Cooley of Francesville, as well as 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A visitation for Evelyn will be held on Saturday October 26, 2019 from 10 AM until the time of services at 12 noon(EST) in the Frazier Funeral Home Monon Chapel 507 N. Market Street Monon, Indiana 47959, burial will follow in the Bedford Cemetery in Monon.
