She left peacefully after more than two weeks refusing to call it quits. Eula was the daughter of Nina and Jack Stone, the widow of Raymond and the mother of Sue, all of which are deceased. At 98, she continued to surprise everyone with her will to live and to make the lives of the ones around her share in her positive attitude and happy personally. Eula was a farm girl and spent many years doing the chores associated with farm life. She eventually went to work in a grocery store and spent many more years in the Grocery business. She was the choice of customers to help them and kept the store a happy and fun place. She and her daughter, Sue, were cat lovers of the first degree. They loved all animals but cats came first. Being a mother and daughter who was seldom seen alone. Eula never fully got over the death of Sue. Her funeral will be held on Sue’s birthday. She is survived by brothers, Billy of Louisville, Harold of Delaware; a niece, Faye Stone of Georgetown; special friends, Nancy Jo and Jimmy Williams, Dianna and Tommy Campbell and Betty Kraft.
