Ethel’s Obituary Ms. Ethel Mae Bradley was born February 16, 1936 to the late Benjamin & Luella Bradley in Pass Christian MS, where she had been a native for over 50 years. She graduated from Randolph High School, married Vernett Dedeaux and raised five children (4 daughters, and 1 son). Ethel worked various jobs but had a long-standing career at the Dixie White House nursing home located in Pass Christian Mississippi. Ethel also was known as one of the best care takers, and cooks in the “Delisle” community, she babysat for several friends and family members which is how she earned the nicknames “Tee-Te” and “Tithee”. Ethel was also known as “Sugga Mama”, this name was given to her by her great grandchildren who will love and cherish her forever. Ethel loved her family unconditionally and was always willing to help anyone, she was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and she loved the lord, and enjoyed attending Saturday or Sunday mass. Ethel enjoyed caring for her children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved family gatherings, cookouts, holidays, good music, and the annual Bradley Family Reunion held every year on the 4th of July. Ethel’s big HEART, HUGS, and LAUGH captured the hearts of many and was well respected by her family and the Delisle community. Ethel was proceeded in death by both parents; Mr. Benjamin Bradley and Mrs. Luella Bradley; her husband, Vernett Dedeaux; a sister Geraldine Swanier; a brother Otis Bradley, and a great granddaughter Kennedy “Rayne” Dedeaux. Ethel leaves to cherish her children, Vernadine (Dave) Parker- Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Cheryl (Wayne) Dedeaux, Lena (Nathan) Clark, Benjamin “Benny” Dedeaux, and Millicent Dedeaux- all of Pass Christian Mississippi. She also leaves to cherish her loving grandchildren Wayne (Denise) Dedeaux- Pass Christian Mississippi, Shaun Piernas- Shreveport, Louisiana, Shana Dedeaux- Gulfport, Mississippi, Shona (Sterling) Reaves- Gulfport Mississippi, Catrina Joseph- Jacksonville, Florida, Wesley Dedeaux- Pass Christian Mississippi, Jamal “Jay” Joseph- Quakertown, Pennsylvania, Latonya Piernas- Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Kalyne Daniels- Gulfport, Mississippi. She also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, relatives, and friends that will miss her dearly. Read More
