Emma Jane Timbrook (Morgan) Kirkendoll, 90 of Moberly passed from her earthly home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Boone Hospital in Columbia after a brief illness. Emma Jane was born on March, 03 1929 in Randolph County, Missouri; she was the only daughter of Glenn and Lillie (Holder) Timbrook. On March 9, 1949 she married John W. Morgan in Moberly MO, who preceded her in death on December 19, 1949. She later married Donald R. Kirkendoll in Hannibal MO on December 31, 1950 and he preceded her in death on February, 11 2005. Also preceding her in death were her parents, a granddaughter, B.J. Morgan, three brothers Braxton, Gene and Bob Timbrook, step-sister Daisy Dorrell, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. Emma Jane traveled the world in her 54 years of marriage to Donald, before returning to the Moberly area to enjoy their golden years and great-grandchildren. Emma Jane believed, “that everything would work out in the wash” and you should “Never cry over spilt milk”. She spent many years volunteering in her church planning countless Mothers Day and Valentines Banquets. Her family lost count on the number of, Baptism, Birthday, Wedding and Anniversary cakes she baked over the years (but if we had to guess it would be well over 500). She enjoyed playing cards, right up to her final days. Emma Jane is survived by her only child Robert W. “Bob” Morgan and his longtime companion Kim Brough of Moberly, Six grandchildren Chris Morgan, Patricia “Trish” Morgan, Both of the Columbia area, Donnie Morgan, of Stoneville, South Carolina, Amanda Covey and her husband Nicholas of Princeton, Brandi Saunders and her husband Joe of Warrensburg and JoAnna Hurt and her husband Fred of Madison. 17 great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Courtney Morgan, Jeffery and Stephanie Stegall, Cody and Aaron Green, Katie, Athena and Jade Saunders, Mallorye, Andrew and John Birge, Drew, Claire and Mia Covey, Laney Peterson, Havenlea and Briant Bone.
