Elizabeth’s Obituary Rochester, NH- Elizabeth Ethyl Dulla (Betty Dulla) passed away on October 2, 2019 at Frsibie Memorial Hospital. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was born on January 26,1927 in Highland, Indiana. Elizabeth was the daughter of Ethyl (Farago) Preiss of Budapest, Hungary and Ferdinand Preiss of Gunz, Germany. She grew up in East Chicago, Indiana. She graduated from East Chicago High School and Sawyer Business School with her Associates Degree. She met and married her husband Louis J. Dulla of Whiting, Indiana in 1947. They moved back to Highland, Indiana and resided there until they moved to Valparaso, Indiana in 1990. Both worked at the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad all their lives. Louis was a civil engineer and Elizabeth was a secretary. For fun they built multiple homes in Highland, Indiana in their spare time. Louis taught Elizabeth to do dry wall, roofing, plumbing, framing, masonry and architectural design. She was President of the PTA at Orchard Park School for several years. She is survived by her son Robert Dulla of Rochester, NH, granddaughters; Kathryn (Dulla) Chodor and husband Michael, of Rochester, NH and Whitney L. Dulla of Valparaso, Indiana. Elizabeth loved gardening, painting, playing piano and organ. She loved animals deeply, especially her dog Hermes. Read More
