Eleanor’s Obituary It is with great sadness that the family of Eleanor (Nora) Menner Julian announces her passing after a brief illness, on Friday, October 4, 2019, at the age of 94 years. A native of New Orleans, LA, Nora and her husband relocated to Texas after Hurricane Katrina. Nora will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, son Dr. Wayne E. Julian, Daughter-in-Law Anne Packer Julian, of Alexandria, VA, daughter Karen E. Julian of San Marcos, TX, Grandson Dr. Jeff A. Julian of New York, NY and Grandaughters Noelle Julian Hummel and her husband David A. Hummel of Sedona, AZ and Michelle A. Julian of Brooklyn, NY, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Edmond George Julian, her parents Henry Menner, Sr. and Rose Dichiara Menner, brothers Henry Menner, Jr. and Frederick Menner and sister Rosemary Menner Mammelli, all of New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, followed by memorial mass with Fr. Rodney Bourg officiating at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA, with interment immediately following at the family tomb in St. Patrick Cemetery ‪#1, 5000 Canal St., New Orleans, LA. Donations in memory of Nora may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org. Read More
