Edith L. Castil Of Lindenhurst Edith L Castil was born on December 14, 1941 in the Philippines to Tomas C Luarez Sr. and Asuncion (nee Flestado) Luarez. She died Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois. Edith is survived by her daughters Edna (Tim) Alvord and Edlyn (Mark Rogers) Castil; her granddaughter Caitlynn (Fiance Curtis Davies) Castil; her grandson Nate Rogers; her great-granddaughter Khaliyah Jackson; her sisters Aida (nee Luarez) Vapor; Girlie (nee Luarez) Reyes and brothers Anthony Luarez, Fil Luarez and Noel Luarez. She was preceded in death by her spouse Edward C Castil as well as her parents, her sisters Edna Luarez, Thelma (nee Luarez) Malanay and brothers Dante Luarez, Danilo Luarez, Tomas Luarez Jr, and Andy Luarez. Memorial Visitation on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 8:00 am until time of prayers 9:15 am at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights, IL 60004 proceeding to St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights for a Mass at 10:00am. Entombment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine. Please omit flowers.
