Hunt, loving husband, father, brother, and friend passed away at the age of 77. Douglas was born on February 19, 1942 in Greenville, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Etherbert and Ella Hunt. He was always uplifting with a positive attitude and had an encouraging word and smile. Douglas was a family man, so his legacy lives on through his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends whom he dearly loved. He was a faithful and dedicated member of Loring Place Holiness Church. Douglas’s body was entrusted to Unity Funeral Chapel, 1018 Prospect Avenue, Bronx, NY 10459. His home-going celebration service will be held at the Loring Place Holiness Church, 1819 Loring Pl S, Bronx, NY 10453, on Friday, November 1st. Viewing Time: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm Home-going Celebration: 5:30 pm *Douglas’s final resting place will be at the Glen Haven Cemetery in Maryland, so there will be no graveside burial service.
