Douglas Odom July 09, 1936 – October 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Douglas Odom, 83, of Center, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, in Center. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Neuville Baptist Church in the Neuville Community of Shelby County. Mr. Odom was born July 9, 1936, in Nocomis, Florida. He served in the United States Air Force and later worked as an electrician for IBEW Local. Mr. Odom was an avid outdoorsman and was known for his love of John Deere Tractors. A loving husband, Dad, Paw-Paw, and friend, Mr. Odom was happiest when spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Odom; children, Scott Odom and wife, Leanna, Denise Kethley and husband Hulette, Michelle Collins and husband Robert, Keith Odom, and Kelly Cormier and husband John; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and brother, Tony Odom and wife Carolyn.
