Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Margrabe, was born on August 2, 1930 in Kansas and departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri at the age of 89 years. Mrs. Margrabe was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chaffee, homemaker, and former Certified Nursing Assistant. She was united in marriage to Robert H. Margrabe on October 15, 1948. Mr. Margrabe preceded her in death on August 1984. Survivors include one son, Fred Margrabe (Cecilia) of Jackson, Missouri; by one daughter, Barbara Sadler (Danny) of Chaffee; four grandchildren, Debbie Ellis (Douglas) of Chaffee, Jenine Pierce (Phil) of Oklahoma, Andrew Margrabe of St. Louis, and Richard Smith (Anita) of Sedgewickville, Missouri; also, by ten great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Smith. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27th, 2019 in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee with Rev. Josh Boley officiating. Read More
