Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy Fern Miller (nee Besher), age 88 of St. John, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2019. Dorothy was born to the late Charles “Bill” and Amy (nee Call) Besher in Marquand, Missouri on Wednesday, November 12, 1930. She married Lindell Miller on January 19, 1952. They were married for 61 years when he passed on September 4, 2013. She was a homemaker and loved to travel, especially to the Smoky Mountains and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Dorothy is survived by one son: Dennis Miller (wife Lynn); 5 grandchildren, Keri Thomas (husband Craig), Stephanie McDonald (husband Darin), Matthew Miller (wife Mindi), Kelli Barth and Michael Meyers (wife Megan); 9 great grandchildren, Taylor, Sydney, Ally, Bradin, Tyler, Lauren, Logan, Kylie and Ella; 2 great great grandchildren, Sophia and Savannah; one brother, Stanley Besher (wife Wilma) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, 1 daughter, Deborah Meyers (surviving husband John) and one brother, Wendell “Bob” Besher (the late Betty). Services: Celebration of Life at SHEPARD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9255 Natural Bridge Road at I-170, St. Louis, Missouri (314-426-6000) with a visitation on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 2000 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pagedale, Missouri.
