Ruiz Mallory was born December 13, 1939 in Scotland. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at her home in Albuquerque. Dorothy will be remembered as a very loving mother who proudly and independently raised and cared for her children. She loved to crochet, create different works of art and go to the casino. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Lynn Ruiz and by her husband, Patrick Mallory. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Paul Ruiz of Yuba City, California and Mark Ruiz of Albuquerque, New Mexico; four grandchildren, Cassie Ruiz, Sherry Berry Ruiz, Katarina Ruiz and Paul Ruiz III; five great grandchildren, Kaden, Connor, Blake, Cameron and Adelina; as well as other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with her late husband, Patrick Mallory, on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 3:00 pm.
