On Sunday, October 27, 2019, Doris I. Osborne, “Queenie”, 92, of Parkville, MD, passed away at Doey’s House, Hagerstown, MD. Doris was born on November 8, 1926 in Harlan County, KY to the late Robert C. and Bertha E. (nee Howard) Bradford. She was a communications administrator for Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD for her entire career, retiring in 1991. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Osborne in 2011; her son, Harold Bradford Osborne in 2015, and her sisters, Margaret Randall, Anne Stokes and Alice Bradshaw. She is survived by her daughter, Karen E. Vreeland, of Parkville, MD, her grandchildren Jennifer Harman, and her husband, Tim, of Hagerstown, MD, Juli Krenzer, and her husband, Ronnie, of Chambersburg, PA, Jon Garcia, and his wife, Kandi, of Kerrville, TX, and Geoffrey Garcia, and his fiancé, Yvonne, of Victoria, TX; 16 great grandchildren, 3 great great grand children, her sister, Betty Blanton of Okeechobee, FL and Lynn King, and her husband, Gene, of Lexington, KY, and her brother, Robert Michael Bradford, of Billings, MT. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Harman Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac Street, Hagerstown on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Interment at a later date in Resthaven Cemetery, Loyall, KY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
