Donna Cook Colbert, age 73, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Colbert was born on September 20, 1946 in Cedartown, GA, to her late parents; William and Helen Cook. Donna retired as a planner for Lockheed Martin, where she worked for 37 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Oxford, FL, and attended First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Phillip L. Colbert of Dallas, GA, son, Kevin Colbert of Dallas, GA, daughter, Tammy (David) Danielson of Tarpon Springs, FL, brother, David (Wanda) Cook of Cedartown, GA, sister, Marion Wolfe of Windermere, FL, grandchildren; Derek (Meria) Danielson, Katie (Ivan) Manjarres, Brandon Danielson, Matthew Cruz, Sarah Grace (Gage) Weber, Abbi Danielson, Blake Colbert, Bryce Colbert, Baylee Colbert, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Donna Cook Colbert will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 3:00 PM from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Polk Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Bryce Colbert, Matthew Cruz, Derek Danielson, Brandon Danielson, Gage Weber, Ivan Manjarres, Jason Womack and Donald Morgan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Mrs. Colbert.
