Barnes, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019. Born April 9, 1938, he was the son of the late Ora and Fern (Reese) Barnes. His son, Donny Barnes also preceded him in death in 2001. Donald was retired from Rexnord as a machine operator after over 30 years there. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Indianapolis Colts, and loved helping others. Survivors include his children: Ken, Debbie, Barry and Tammy Barnes; his brother, Kenny Barnes; 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A memorial services will be Monday, October 21, 2019 at 6:00 PM in the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel, with calling from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. Print Obituary
