He was born October 27, 1950 to the late Arthur E Jobson and Sarah Perkins in Flint, MI. Donald was a graduate of Millington High School with the class of 1968. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. Donald married Karen Lee Mishler on December 9, 1972 in Mt. Morris, MI. He was a member of the Mayville Eagles #4099, VFW and American Legion in Flordia. Donald enjoyed sharing good times with family and friends, the Detroit Tigers, going to the Casino, golfing, Gunsmoke show and hunting. He is survived by his daughter, Christi (Mickel) Toombs of Vassar, MI; son, Eric (Nicole) Jobson of Otter Lake, MI; sister, Connie Keinath of Millington, MI; brother, Tom (Diane) Jobson of Otter Lake, MI and five grandchildren. Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Karen and his parents. The Family will receive visitors Friday, November 1, 2019 from 3-8 PM and Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10 AM to time of service at the Avram Funeral Home Mayville, MI. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11 AM at the Avram Funeral Home 6023 Lincoln St. Mayville, MI with Pastor Carole Brown officiating. Millitary honors will be conducted by Mayville VFW #10884 and Mayville Americal Legion #181. Memorial contributions may be made to Mayville Eagles Post #4099.
