He has left us his will. Not a will filled with silver and gold but his humor, sense of fair play and dependability. He leaves us his love and appreciation of family and friends, especially all of his 4-legged friends. He was born January 28, 1934 in Bienville, La. and his soul passed from this earth on October 24, 2019 in Quitman (Mt. Olive) community. Those gone before him were his parents, Charles Bosen and Julia Alma (Langford) Jones; brothers, Travis Jones, Rupurt Jones and Charles Jones. Sisters, Doris (Sam) Moncrief, Cecil (Manford) Bayes, Lois (Al) Mallett and Opal McConathy (J.P.) Smith. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Joyce Arner Jones and daughters Deborah Nay, Donna Johnson (James) and Ame Gray (Scott); nine grandchildren, Craig Waters (Tiffany), Heath Leuper, Jessica McCorkhill (Michael), Jayne Robin (Mare), Dustin Johnson (Heather), Tori Johnson, Christopher Gray (Amber), Katie Richardson (Chris) and Mackenzie Gray; great grandchildren, Caitlyn Waters, Caleb Waters, Carlynn Waters, Macie Leuper, Colby Leuper, Franchesca Delgadillo, Malena Delgadillo, Javier Delgadillo, Kallie Johnson, Kara Klahn, Cason Robin, Noah Johnson, Cason Johnson, Alysen Gray, Maelynn Gray and Lillian Marygrace Richardson; sister-in-law, Erma Jones Williams; several nieces and nephews. We are all just passing time in this earthly world and each one of us will occupy our chair very briefly. The time we had with Don Jones was a gift.
