90, of North Providence, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, October 21, 2019, at RI Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert Santoro Sr. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (Ricci) Rinaldi. Mrs. Santoro was a data-entry operator for the RI Department of Labor and Training for many years until her retirement. Dolores is survived by her loving children, Karen Ramsay and her husband Glen of Wakefield, Albert Santoro and his wife Denise of Foster, Arthur Santoro and his wife Gina of North Scituate, and the late Patricia Pezzullo. She was also the loving mother in-law of Angelo Pezzullo. Dolores was the cherished grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of three. Dolores was the sister of Gennaro “Jerry” Rinaldi, the late Viola Tundis, Arthur, Salvatore, Michael, John and Anthony Rinaldi. “Gram,” as she was called affectionately, loved her home the most. The kitchen and the garden were her favorite places. She liked nothing better than to make her many flowers bloom and her vegetables grow, and create homemade pie crust and spinach pies. Baking was her passion, and Italian cookies were her specialty, and she shared her knowledge with her children, all great cooks. Small in stature, but feisty in spirit, she knew how to wield a “cucchiaio“and swing a “mappina” in her pink kitchen that was her kingdom. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. They all received jewelry and toys bought from her favorite T.V. shopping channels, a pastime she enjoyed, along with reading and crafts. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Home Service on Saturday, Oct. 26th, at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
