Dino J. “Diz” Bizzozero, age 61, of Elizabeth, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Jefferson Hospital. He was a general maintenance worker for Brightside Academy in McKeesport. He was a member of Blaine Hill and Elizabeth fire halls and he loved loud music, cooking Italian food, and watching Pirates baseball games. Born September 4, 1958 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Eleo and Mildred (DePaul) Bizzozero. He is survived by his fiancĂ© of 18 years, Sara L. McCorkle of Elizabeth; son, Dante Bizzozero of Elizabeth; stepdaughter, Kaitlyn Christeson of Elizabeth; sisters, Linda Borodaty of Monongahela, Karen (Guy) Peluso of Sarasota, FL and Pamela (Dennis) Resnik of Elizabeth; brothers, Paul (Brenda) Bizzozero of West Newton and Carmen Bizzozero of Elizabeth; sister-in-law, Sharon Bizzozero of Belle Vernon; also, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Eugene Bizzozero and his twin brother, Dante Bizzozero. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 from 2 PM until the time of service at 7 PM in the chapel with the Rev. Ed Slate officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, SW Region, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
