Diana Jean McCool, 72 years, of Hamilton, Indiana passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Parkview Noble Hospital, Kendallville, Indiana. Diana was born June 13, 1947 in Butler, Indiana, the daughter of Forest and Emma (Williams) Trenary. She was a 1965 graduate of Butler High School and continued her education obtaining an associate degree from International Business College. Diana married Louis D. McCool on November 30, 1968 in Butler, Indiana. She worked as billing clerk at Universal Tools for 12 years. She previously worked in accounts payable at Spangler Candy Company for 15 years. Diana was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church. Diana cherished spending time with her husband, children, and baking cookies with her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Louis McCool of Hamilton, Indiana; two sons, Scott (Desiree) McCool of Golden, Colorado and Mark (Molly) McCool of Washburn, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Chase McCool, Hailey McCool, McKenna McCool and Kody McCool; mother, Emma Trenary of Butler, Indiana; four siblings, Shirley (Denny) Armstrong of Coldwater, Michigan, DeWayne (Cheri) Trenary of Butler, Indiana, Jerry (Treasa) Trenary of Butler, Indiana and Clyde (Brenda) Trenary of Butler, Indiana. Diana was preceded in death by her father, Forest. To honor Diana’s wishes there will be a celebration of life held at a later day. Arrangements by Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 3985 East Church Street, Hamilton, Indiana.
