Debra S. Durbin, age 63 of Marine, IL, died Monday, October 07, 2019, at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville, IL. She was born on July 11, 1956, in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Earl and Ella (nee McKinney) Byrd. On April 12, 1980, she married Bobby J. Durbin at Granite City, IL. He passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church. Debra was born in East St. Louis, IL and lived most of her childhood and young adult years in Granite City, IL. She had worked for Concordia Publishing House, Caldwell Banker as a Realtor in Troy, and at St. Joseph Hospital in Highland, IL. She loved going to yard sales, watching movies, photography (the family photographer) and was very active in several groups in her church. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Troy United Methodist Church in Troy, IL, with Rev. Andrew S. Adams officiating. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriner’s Hospital For Children.
