Debra Lynn Leiskau, 64, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Debra was born June 11, 1955 to Lawrence and Janet (Johnson) Beyer. She graduated from Merrill High School in 1973. In the mid 80’s, Debbie was an assistant softball and volleyball coach. Her players were very fond of her and kept in touch after they graduated. Debbie was very passionate about working with youth and made a positive impact on their lives. She had also been a… foster grandparent at Lincoln Hills. Debbie was a big fan of the Packers, Badger and Brewers. She played on the women’s softball team for Henrich’s Club for many years. She was a wonderful cook and everything she cooked was delicious; especially her lasagna. Debbie loved animals and had many dogs and cats throughout the years. Debbie is survived by her mother, Janet Beyer of Merrill; brother, Bruce Beyer of Lone Rock; two sons, Jon (Kelly) Leiskau of Merrill and David Leiskau (Jesse Morzenti) of Redondo Beach, California; three grandchildren, Emily Leiskau, Bradley Leiskau and Erica (James) Madden; and two great-grandchildren, Carter and Vayda Madden. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence ‘Bud’ Beyer; two dogs, Sasha and Reggie; and her cat, Skittles. No services will be held.
