Daniel McBride, 65, of Andrews passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 in Andrews. Private services are being held by the family. Daniel was born on March 25, 1954 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Jack William McBride and Ruthye Tabor McBride. He was raised in Lamesa and graduated from Lamesa High School. He had worked for TV stations in Corpus Christi and moved to Andrews in 1985. He had worked for Permian Regional Medical Center for 33 ½ years, retiring in 2017 as Director of Plant Operations. He married the love of his life, Christina Joann Alaniz in 2006 in Andrews. He was always learning and reading and was philosophical. He loved all types of music and art and loved to paint, draw, and photography. He loved to visit places and eat and shopping online, especially Amazon. He was a licensed Federal Firearm Dealer and a Colonel in the State of Kentucky Colonels. His favorite moment was taking his wife to Nashville, Tennessee to see the Solar Eclipse and spending time with his family. He loved to give his family nicknames, which are listed below. He loved to say, “You should be diggin’ it, while it’s happening!”. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Ruthye McBride, son Hershel McBride, and sister in law Nancy McBride. Daniel is survived by his wife, Christina “Muneca” Alaniz of Andrews, 4 children, Molly “Sleepscrooked” Nobles and husband, Daniel, of McKinney, Ginger “Wakes Happy” Holguin and husband, Jesse, of Odessa, Stormie “Eimrots Zinala” Fernandez and husband, Xavier of Andrews, and Ryan “Nayr Ttelwor” Rowlett and wife, Emily, of Andrews, brother, David McBride of Katy, sister, Julie Dumbeck and husband, Regan, of Elgin, and 7 grandchildren, Austin “Knock Chop” Nobles, Landon “Walkstalk” Nobles, Layne Holguin, Blaise Holguin, Laken Holguin, Xayden “Chacho” Fernandez, and Elizabeth “Lizzibelle” Rowlett.
