Daniel Leigh Byron August 05, 1939 – October 11, 2019 Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Daniel Leigh Byron son of the late Iva Adams Byron and Leonard Byron was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on August 5, 1939. He departed this life at Mercy South in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 11, 2019, at the age of 80. In 1968 in East St. Louis, Illinois, Daniel was united in marriage to Mary Joe Barnes. She preceded him in death on January 8, 1995. He was a member of the Hopewell Masonic Lodge #239, and a retired Union Local #42 Laborer of St. Louis. He enjoyed listening to country music, fishing, deer hunting and cooking for his friends during deer season. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers, Mike, Jerry, Tommy, and Timmy Byron, three sisters, Lorraine Bundy, Patricia Clark and Peggy Rolfe. Daniel is survived by three sons, James Byron and wife Debby of Hillsboro, Missouri, Daniel Byron of Annapolis, Missouri, Thomas Byron and wife Tiffany of Fenton, Missouri, three daughters, Robin Byron of Bloomsdale, Missouri, Therressa Schmigiel and husband Mark of Forestville, New York, Danielle Phillips and husband Todd of Bloomsdale, Missouri, seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Rachel, Aubrey, Lyndsey, Kyle, Tristan and Treyce, and four great grandchildren, Nickolas, Olivia, Harper and Kayleigh. Daniel will be deeply missed by his family and many friends who will mourn his passing.
