Danah went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Danah was born December 22, 1948 in Phoenix, AZ to Holman and Anna Brooks. She was the youngest of eight brothers and sisters. Danah graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1968. Later in life, she spent many joyful years as teacher’s assistant to a special needs class at Sweetwater Elementary School, retiring in 2012. Danah always had a song in her heart, was always giving of her love and time to others, and especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Danah is preceded in death by her parents, her granddaughter Samantha, and four siblings- Virginia, Virgil, Patricia, and Margaret. She is survived by her two children- LeeAnn and Allen; four grandchildren- Nicholas, Brianna, Sean, and Emily; and three siblings- Betty, Bonnie, and Roy. A memorial service will be held at Regency Mortuary in Sun City, AZ on Saturday, October 26th at 10:00 am, followed by a reception at the Young home.
