Charles Leslie Powell, Jr., (Jr.), age 64, of Sweetwater TN passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2019,and entered into his Heavenly Home. He is preceded in death by his Mother, Helen Marie Miller-Powell and Father, Reverend Charles Leslie Powell, Sr., Grand-Parents Carrie Lee and Charles Leo Miller and Lawrence and Jesse Powell. He leaves behind his Daughter, Jessica (Matt) Brown, Grand-daughter, Penelope Brown of Howell, Mich., his be-loved Sisters, Linda (Porter) Carroll of Philadelphia, Darnell (Alan) Collins of Sweetwater, Aunts, Uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, great- nieces, great- nephews and family. Charles was an avid farmer who also trained and showed horses. The Family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to U.T. Hospital and Archer’s Medical for their care and support. The Family will receive friends at New Life Worship Center, Loudon, TN., on Saturday, Oct. 12 ,2019, from 3:00 .m to 4:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service starting at 4:00 p.m. The Family will hold private burial at a later date.
