Charles’ Obituary Charles E. Powell, Sr., 81, of Coopersburg, died at home on Sunday, October 27, 2019.He was the longtime companion of Alice C. (Tilghman) Burton. Born in Gaston, GA, he was the son of the late Lucious and Ethel (Robinson) Powell. He was a machinist for Ingersoll and Rand Inc. for many years in Allentown and later worked as a plumber for Adams Plumbing in Bethlehem. Charles was an avid hunter. Survivors: Companion; Children, Edward Brantley, Charlotte Chandler and Ronnie Powell; Siblings, Elizabeth Bellfield, Laura Harris, Sydney Powell, Elaster Powell and Betty Powell; Grandchildren, Charles Powell, III. and Constance Powell. He was preceded in death by his Children, Debra Powell, Charles Powell, Jr., and Wendy Brantley. Services: 12:30 Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown.
