Catherine M. Marini, 61, passed away in her home on September 29, 2019 due to lung cancer. Her sister Sallie Marini was by her side throughout the last moments of her life and will always be honored for the care and companionship she offered her sister through till the end. Cathy worked as a Bus operator at NJ Transit for the past 8 years and came to enjoy and befriend many there. The friendships she had with her colleagues were very special to her. Her family would like to thank her friends and neighbors that were very instrumental in making Cathy’s life full of love and pleasure. Cathy is predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Dora Marini, and survived by her daughter Nicole Frontera, her ”little” sister Sallie Marini, and her older sister Doreen Scarpulla. Cathy had a great love for animals, but particularly of her horse Marco, dog Bella and her cat Shadow! Rest in peace Kit-Kat my wonderful friend, you will be sorely missed every bit as much as you were loved by those you allowed to be a part of your life. Cathy will be cremated and a private memorial will be announced at a later date.
