Carolynne’s Obituary Carolynne (Carol) Racheal Gallagher passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born June 24, 1937 in Bismarck, North Dakota, one of six children born to Harold and Anne Richardson. Carol married John Lawrence Gallagher April 4, 1960 in Billings and moved to Havre the same year. In 1965 they purchased their family farm southeast of Havre where they raised their eleven children. Carol was a life time member of the DAV, VFW, American Legion and Eagles Axillaries, where she held various local and state offices. She also served on the local school board with in Hill County for several decades. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her daughter Angela Kay O’Neil, and four grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Gallagher, Michael John O’Neil, Misty Dawn O’Neil and Ryan Patrick Gallagher. She is survived by ten children, Robert (Debra) Gallagher of Havre, Terry Gallagher of Rushville, NE, Julie Skramstad of Havre, Jeanne Davis of Havre, Cathleen Gallagher of Great Falls, James (Alana) Gallagher of Coronado, CA., Karen (Brett) McCrummen of Billings, Daniel (Michelle) Gallagher of Havre, Jacqueline Gallagher of Billings, and Michael Gallagher of Shepherd. She was a loving mother and mentor to her eleven children, thirty-four grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Viewing will be Monday, October 21, 2019 from 5p-7p at Holland & Bonine Funeral Home 210 3rd Street in Havre, MT. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at St. Jude’s Catholic Church 440 7th Avenue, Havre, MT. Private interment will take place on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Gallagher family farm southeast of Havre. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in Carol’s name to the nursery through the Northern Montana Health Care Foundation.
