Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn Sue McGrew was born June 13, 1945 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Rosco and Esther (Hall) Newman. She passed away October 3, 2019 at her home in Crescent, Oklahoma at the age of 74 years. Survivors include her husband, Charles of the home; son, Glen McGrew of Crescent; three daughters, Sherry Melott and husband Michael of Enid, Oklahoma, Charlotte Pitman of Enid, Oklahoma, and Barbara Tarrant of Crescent; brother, Don Newman of Enid, Oklahoma; sister, Barbara Spears of Blackwell, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Tom McGrew, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 7, 2019 at the CrossPointe Assembly Church with Art Hulet and Cecil Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery in Crescent. Read More
