Carolyn’s Obituary Carolyn Mae Schwab, 77, of Brush, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2019, at the East Morgan County Hospital. She was born March 22, 1942, in Scottsbluff, NE to Orval and Maude Notman. On May 26, 1962, Carolyn married Melvin Schwab in Lyman, NE. After living in the front range of Colorado for several years, the Schwab family moved to Brush in 1979. Carolyn worked as a medical records transcriptionist for the Brush Clinic for 30 years. She later worked as a secretary in different churches in the area. Carolyn attended the Snyder Bible Church. She enjoyed working with crafts, embroidery work, gardening with flowers and reading. Survivors include her husband, Melvin of Brush; 2 children, Michael (Anita) Schwab of Oaxoaxa, Mexico and Melanie (Kevin) Fergus of Brush; her siblings and their spouses Marilyn (Stan) Willadson, Jim (Bonnie) Notman, Linda (John) Boe, Jerry (Sharon) Notman and Kathy (Jerry) Bow; her grandchildren, Tifani Schwab, Brianna Schwab, Rachel Fergus, Ryan Fergus, Sally Schwab, and Kelly Schwab; and one great grandson, Bayani Schwab. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Vivian DiDonator, Evelyn Lawry, and 1 brother, Harold Notman. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Snyder Bible Church in Snyder, CO. Inurnment will be in the Brush Memorial Cemetery. Memorial gifts in lieu of flowers may be given to the Foundation for His Ministry / MJ Schwab Account, Oaxoaxa Mission. Read More
