Carolyn Floyd McElveen, 69, of Florence, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019. Mrs. McElveen was born in Olanta, SC, a daughter of Leila Floyd and the late Frank William Floyd. She was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by her brother, Ronnie Floyd. Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband, Everette Jerome McElveen of Florence; sons, Rusty Foster (Charlene) Lee and Brad William (Lisa) Lee; daughter, Jodie (Tony) Cook; grandchildren, Ashley Cook, Anthony Cook, Will (Jessica) Lee, Autumn Lee (Hunter) Hayes, Reed Lee, Hali Oglesby, Heather Bratcher, Heidi Hall, Tyler Lee, and Savannah Lee; sister, Cindy (Billy) Ard; seven great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 am Friday, October 4, 2019 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to follow at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel.
