Carla Jo Turner Witherington, 65, of Covington, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2019, at her home. Ms. Witherington was Director of Marketing and Development for Bost Benefits and a member of Chi Omega Sorority, Xi Zeta Chapter. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church Covington. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, her Chi Omega Sorority Sisters, and attending Lady Vols basketball games. Ms. Witherington is survived by her sons George Robert (Erin) Baddour and James Benjamin “Ben” (Kristy) Baddour; her mother Veda Robinson, all of Covington; brother Robert “Bob” Millard (Wendy) Turner, Jr. of Cordova; grandchildren Katherine Elizabeth Baddour, James Henry Baddour, George Weston Baddour and Raegan Osborn Baddour; and nieces Megan Ray Turner and Madison Marie Turner. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Millard Turner, Sr., her stepfather Bill Robinson, and a grandson George Garner Baddour. Visitation will be Friday, October 11 from 5-7 pm. The service for Ms. Witherington is Saturday, October 12 at 3:30 at Maley-Yarbrough Chapel with Rev. Hugh Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Covington Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank Angela Stewart and Crossroads Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to The Pat Summit Foundation, The Chi Omega Foundation, or a foundation of the donor’s choice.
