Bonnie Jean Smith June 19, 1932 – September 30, 2019 Bonnie Jean Smith of Mendenhall went to be with Jesus on Monday September 30, 2019 at Simpson General Hospital, She was born on Sunday June 19, 1932. Visitation will be held on Wednesday October 2 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mendenhall. Visitation at Everett Baptist Church starting at 10:00am October 3 with services at 12:00pm. The Burial will follow in Everett Cemetery. Brother Glen Jennings will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Mendenhall is in charge of arrangements. (601) 847-4401 She was preceded in death by her parents Lenson and Sarah Rebecca Thames, Loving husband of 33 years- Claude Smith. Son: David Allen Smith. Siblings: Ruby Smith, Jessie Prince, Williby Thames, Thelma Adkins, Willie Ray Thames, Gladys Hard, Beatrice Speed, Bobbie Walters, and Clara Ramage. Survivors include children: Betty Wood (Kenneth), Billy Carrol Smith (Vermell), Jeff Smith. Grandchildren: Kristina Wood, Kimberly Wood, Billy Smith, and Austin Smith.
