Graveside services for Beverly Jane Thedford, 73, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2019, at Woodside Cemetery with Pastor Preston Burton officiating under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Ms. Thedford passed away October 4, 2019, in a Tyler hospice. She was born November 15, 1945, in Dallas to Raymond Castel & Lula Mae Hughes Tutor. She was raised in Grand Saline and spent most of her adult life in Dallas before moving back to Grand Saline in the mid 80’s. She retired as a CNA at Azalea Trails Nursing Center. Beverly enjoyed her family and especially loved to be around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; Lula Mae Winterbauer; father, Castel Tutor; sister, Virginia Mae Bradberry; and brother, Billy Tutor. Survivors include her three sons, Robert Rhodes and wife Sandra of Brownsboro, Ray Rhodes of Quinlan and Ronnie Rhodes of Quinlan; four grandchildren, Christie Burton, Lisa Jane Rhodes, Ronnie Rhodes Jr. and Sara Mae Davis; six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Pippa, Birdie, Trevor, Alex Ray and Emory Rose; and numerous other relatives and friends. Memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, TX 75701. The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Monday at the funeral home.
