Benny’s Obituary Benny Ray Oliver, age 63, a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Benny will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 21 at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in the Glennwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born September 14, 1956 in Maury County, Benny was the son of the late Raymond and Grace Spencer Oliver. He worked for Dairymen, Inc. and had a big heart, especially for children. His hobbies were hotrodders, music and video games. He never said “NO” when he was asked to help. Benny is survived by his sister: Brenda K. Williams of Columbia; brothers: David Oliver of Leoma and Roger (Crystal) Oliver of Georgia; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey Oliver, Paul Campbell, Michael Thomas and friends. Read More
