On Thursday, September 26, 2019, Barbara E. Wright passed away at the young age of 77. Barb was born on December 12, 1941 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Arthur and Florence Wegar. She was retired from Horizon Blue Cross / Blue Shield in Newark where she worked for over 25 years as an Actuary. She was quite crafty with a family talent for painting, sewing and baking. But quilting and reading brought her the most joy. Her house was filled with hundreds of books; many she read multiple times. She frequented JOANN’s, where she would get new patterns for quilts that she made. Quilting was one of her passions, and she would share that passion by making quilts for her family, friends and veterans. Barbara was known for her quick wit, feisty spirit and her kind and loving heart. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur, her mother Florence and her beloved husband Charles. She is survived by her younger brother Eric, her daughter Erika, her son-in-law Alan and her granddaughter Ariana. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Barbara Wright December 12 1941 September 26 2019 (age 77).
