Anita Christine Bettes May 16, 1944 – October 08, 2019 Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Anita Christine Bettes, daughter of the late Francis Burns and Willie Bellah was born in Corning, Arkansas, on May 16, 1944. She departed this life at her residence in Redford, Missouri, on October 8, 2019, at the age of 75. On August 19, 1967 in Piggott, Arkansas, Anita was united in marriage to Terry Bettes and to this loving union six children were born. Anita enjoyed crocheting, Paint By Numbers, and watching the television series Murder She Wrote. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Billy Joe Bellah, one brother-in-law, Lindy Watkins, and one nephew, Nicholas Rice. Anita is survived by her husband, Terry Bettes of Redford, Missouri, three sons, Clifford Bettes and wife Kimberly of Ellington, Missouri, Terry Max Bettes of Ellington, Missouri, and Ricky Bettes of Redford, Missouri, three daughters, Stacy Lockwood and husband Randy of Desloge, Missouri, Billie Keeney of Ellington, Missouri, and Micky Parkhill and husband Ronnie of Ellington, Missouri, a special daughter, Frances Petty and husband Richie of Centerville, Missouri, two sisters, Sharon Watkins of Florissant, Missouri, and Shirley Rice and husband Owen of Corning, Arkansas, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, a special grandchild, Melody Freeman of Ellington, Missouri, and a special friend, Donna Klema. Anita will be missed by a host of relatives and many friends who will mourn her passing.
