Andres’ Obituary Andres L. Gallegos, age 59, a lifetime resident of Buena Vista, NM, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 in Las Vegas, NM. He was born on September 20, 1960 to Nieves Gallegos and Flora Pino in Buena Vista, NM. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, driving big rigs, working on and restoring bicycles. He is preceded in death by his parents: Nieves and Flora Gallegos; step-father: Sam Maestas, brothers: Pete Gallegos, Rudy Gallegos, Alfredo “Chemo” Gallegos, Eddie Gallegos; sisters: Dolores Martinez and Gia Berged. He is survived by his daughter and sons: Andrea Gallegos (Juan) of Santa Fe, NM, Andres Gallegos Jr. (Stephanie) of Las Vegas, NM; Andrequez Gallegos of Buena Vista, NM; and Phillip Lucero of Texas; grandchildren: Andres III, Amirah and Serenity; sisters and brothers: Isabel Lopez, Nieves Gallegos (Vernice), Bea Richards (Tedrick), Linda Sanderson (Chuck), Sam Maestas Jr. (Armand) and Jonathon Maestas (Lillian) all of Buena Vista, NM; sisters-in-law: Rose Gallegos and Evelyn Gallegos of Las Vegas, NM; brother-in-law: Frank Berged of Las Vegas, NM; uncles: Amado Pino of Buena Vista, NM; and Edwardo Arguello (Judy) of Las Vegas, NM; aunts: Judy Arguello and Lucille Arguello both of Las Vegas, NM; numerous: nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Rosary devotional services will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 7:00 pm at St. Gertrude Church in Mora, NM. Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 9:00 am at Santo Niño de Atocha Church in Buena Vista, NM, with Father Fred Alexander S.O.L.T. as celebrant. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Cemetery in Buena Vista, NM, with the following serving as Pallbearers, Andres Gallegos, Andrequez Gallegos, Sam Maestas Jr, Jonathon Maestas, Tedrick Richards and Nieves Gallegos.
