Amie’s Obituary Amie Marie Brackett, 81 of Maryville, went to be with the lord on Monday October 7th 2019 at 11:30pm, with her sisters by her side at NHC Athens. She enjoyed listening to Gospel music, tending to her garden, and watching preachers. She loved to spend time with friends and family anytime she could. She is proceeded in death by her parents Grady and Neita Garrett, husband Ford E. Brackett, son Joseph Brackett, and grandson Ethan Brackett. She is survived by her four sisters Betty Edwards, Joyce and Eddie Luttrell, Marilyn and Randy Brannon, and Carolyn and Jerry Veal. Her two children Karen and Nicky Walker and Lisa Gasche and step-daughter Brenda Giffin. Seven grandchildren Nick and Tara Walker, Tony and Kimberly Clampet, Kassie Clampet, Amanda Wheat, Garrett Brackett, Braden Brackett, and Gage Brackett. She was also blessed with fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She had many nieces, nephews and other family and friends that loved her dearly. A special thank you to her sister Marilyn and her daughter Lisa for all the care they provided to her and for her in her greatest time of need. She was a wounderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many and she will be greatly missed. The family is planning a small private ceremony to be determined at a later date.
